Abstract. Introduces NGOMSL (Natural GOMS Language), a structured pseudocode notation that makes GOMS analysis systematic and supports learning-time predictions. Each new rule is assumed to take about 10 seconds to learn, providing a rough but useful metric for comparing the learnability of alternative designs.
